Software and gadgets I can't live without.

I’ve tried a lot of different nicknacks over the years and curated the following list.

Workstation

  • 16” MacBook Pro

I prefer working, developing, and just doing just about anything other than gaming on a Mac.

  • Nuphy Halo 75

Highly recommend any Nuphy keyboard for anyone who clicks and clacks. It's an amazing price, insanely customizable, and has legendary switches and build (I love the Rose Glacier switches).

  • MX Master 3S

This mouse is so much better than the Apple Magic Mouse. It's ergonomic and allows you to use gestures that seamlessly itegrate with the Mac.

  • Uplift V2

Extremely well-built standing desk. 'Nuff said.

  • Dev Tools

  • Replit

Amazing cloud-based platform with a powerful AI helper and everything you need to build and deploy your projects. I maintain this website using Replit and it works great!

  • iTerm 2

Great shell customization and terminal overall. Check out my blog post to see how I set it up.

  • Fig

Fig is a super cool tool for autocomplete in the terminal. It’s a great way to learn new commands and save time.

  • LT Browser

Great tool for frontend devs to test sites in mobile and desktop viewports at the same time.

  • Music

  • Logic Pro X

In my opinion, the most fun-to-use DAW for music production and mixing. It can do literally everything you would want it to with an intuitive Apple interface and can be learned fairly quickly, even for the inexperienced musician!

  • Productivity

  • Notion

You may have heard of Notion but it's the best productivity app I've ever used. It's a great way to organize your life! I use it for groceries, to-do lists, writing my blog posts, journaling, planning projects, and even have a running list of food spots in SF.

  • Raycast

Raycast is the most underrated Mac app. It's used as a spotlight replacement and allows you to do so much more. I use it to search for files, open apps, and run scripts. It's the best way to save time and be more productive.

  • Notion Calendar (Cron)

I've tried every calendar app out there and Notion Calendar (Mac & iOS) wins. It's got the best interface, command pallete, keyboard shortcuts and so much more.

  • Superhuman

If you love speed, keyboard shortcuts, and don't mind the monthly subscription, Superhuman is the email client for you. Otherwise, Spark is a great free alternative.

  • Arc Browser

Arc Browser is a really interesting redesign of the traditional browser. I've been using it for while now and I've loved the new sidebar tab management and navigation system.

  • Health & Wellness

  • Apple Watch

You already know about this one. Any series 3+ will do the trick!

  • Gymaholic

One of the best gym tracker apps - I use it to track sets and it goes extremely well with the Apple Watch.

  • Oura Ring

Is it worth it? Kinda. If you love tracking your sleep and want to know exactly your levels of energy for a specific day, this beatiful ring is for you.

  • Oral-B iO

Basically, a smart toothbrush that tracks your brushing habits. Also tells you how much pressure to put on your teeth and how long to brush each area for.
